PHP Developer - Full Time

Details:

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced php developer to work within our in-house web design & development team developing existing and new client projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing professional development solutions within a commercial environment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience.
  • Excellent understanding of PHP5.
  • Excellent understanding of OOP.
  • Excellent understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL + SQL).
  • Excellent understanding of XHTML and CSS to W3C, Section 501 compliant standards.
  • Excellent understanding of HTML5, XHTML and XML.
  • Excellent understanding of CSS and CSS3.
  • Client-side libraries/frameworks (Mootools/JQuery).
  • Cross browser/OS compatibility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers.
  • Ability of working with other development team members.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience working with open source systems (Joomla, Wordpress, zencart, magento etc).
  • Experience with mobile application development (IOS & Android).
  • Case studies of previous development work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To develop php driven applications quickly & efficiently within agreed specifications and deadlines.
  • To support our clients technically, efficiently and effectively with any queries they may have.
  • To produce technical documentation as and when required.
  • To liaise with clients and team members as and when required.
  • To effectively and efficiently manage projects ensuring they meet timescales and deadlines.
  • To represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
