When we got the call to create a dual language website - Arabic and English - we were really excited. We'd never done an Arabic website before.
Little did we know what challenges were in front of us.
Not only is it a different language but it also reads from right to left. That meant when we created the English website we had to reverse the language direction for the Arabic one.
On top of this, the shadowing, and menus all had to go from right to left for the Arabic website. AND it all had to show up great in IE7 - of all the browsers!
Not your average web build I can assure you.
But we cracked it and we're now confident that we'd be able to accomplish the same polished finish for other Arabic websites.
